Another Gay Question...?

I AM NOT GAY WHATSOEVER!!!!!!!! Ok so...a couple days ago I asked about my mother telling me I'm going to be judged for not telling my gay friends not to be gay. I showed her a picture of my gay friend who SHE REMEMBERS as girly!!!! She looks at the picture, scowls, and goes "thats what happens when you're always with gays. You are who you hang with." she's "ADVISING" me to not hang out with them anymore!!! I can't do that just because they're gay. How can I explain to her that gay is not something that you catch from other people?!
